Job Description Key Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established clinical protocols and scope of practice, • Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints, • Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures, • Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as ordered by the provider, • Perform basic clinical procedures (e.g., EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, point-of-care testing), • Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and report changes in condition, • Support chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, COPD) through patient education and follow-up, • Coordinate care, including referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling diagnostic tests, • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards, • Manage patient communication, including phone triage, prescription refills, and follow-up calls, • Maintain exam room readiness, stock supplies, and ensure proper equipment function Qualifications • Current LPN license in the state of practice, • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program, • Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in internal medicine or primary careCompany DescriptionThe Bachrach Group (TBG) is a New York-based staffing and recruiting agency founded in 1974 by Richard Bachrach.
