As a Test Development Engineer, you will be at the heart of our product lifecycle. You won't just "test" products; you will design, develop, and implement cutting-edge Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and sophisticated test programs. Your mission is to bridge the gap between design and manufacturing, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of excellence. Tailor Your Path: Hardware or Software Software Specialization: Focus on the "intelligence" of the system, designing and implementing programs to automate the hardware for robust functional testing. Provide high-level test hardware and software architecture, reviewing datasheets to select appropriate equipment based on requirements. Design, develop, and integrate test solutions (hardware & software), including system qualification and installation to meet project quality plans. Strategic Planning: Support the creation of functional test strategies and technical proposals, including proposals and hours estimates. Resolve complex tester issues using design of experiments (DOE), failure analysis, and statistical industry methods. Design for Testability: Collaborate with product design teams to provide feedback on testability, coverage, and diagnostics to improve user experience. Manufacturing Optimization: Stabilize test solutions for manufacturing, working with process teams to optimize cycle time and yield. We are looking for versatile engineers with a solid foundation in electronics. Electronic Analysis: Solid ability to read and compose complex electrical diagrams, both digital and analog. Testing Methodology: Experience in circuit verification and defining acceptance test procedures. Global Communication: Professional fluency in English (written and oral). System Design: Ability to design robust test hardware that bridges the gap between design and manufacturing. Path B: Software Development (Automating the Hardware) Focus on the automation of the testing process. Advanced skills in Python, LabVIEW, or C# . Automation Logic: Developing sophisticated test programs to automate hardware functions and data collection. Debugging & Analysis: Resolving complex issues using Failure Analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE). Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
