The Role of Bell Attendant: Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is looking for a Bell Attendant to join our team. The Bell Attendant is an integral part of the Guest Services Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests are well looked after from the start. The Bell Attendant is stationed at the bell stand outside the hotel and greets each guest by name upon arrival and departure. The Bell Attendant transports luggage to the guest room for arrivals and transports luggage for departing guests to the hotel entrance or into temporary storage. The Bell Attendant is also in charge of park guest car. The Bell Attendant also provides arriving guests with a hotel orientation. Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms. Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups. Park guest car with a maximum level of care. IT IS MANDATORY TO HAVE CAR LICENCE Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Greets all guest passing through lobby and offers them assistance. Comply with Four Seasons’ Work Rules and Standards of Conduct. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. Performs shoeshine service; picking up shoes from guest room, cleaning and polishing them and returning them to the guest. Performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property. Provides a high level of cleanliness in the lobby and luggage storage room. Assists guests at the Concierge Desk. Assisst with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Door Staff. Strong interpersonal skills are paramount, as well as the ability to multitask, attention to detail and solve problems. Physical by nature this position requires the ability to lift and push at least 30 Kgs. The ideal candidate will have knowledge about the local area. Applicants are required to have one year of experience in a Bell Attendant position. It is required to have driver license. Must have the legal right to work in Spain and have fluency in English and Spanish. Qualifications: SHIPBOARD Employment type. Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests. Ability to speak additional languages preferably Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French or German (Conversational Proficiency). 2-3 yrs background experience as Front Desk/Receptionist in a 4 or 5 * Hotel. Guest services shipboard experience is an advantage. Essential duties and responsibilities: Maintains a constant presence of professionalism and emergency preparedness within stateroom services, supporting the operation in resolving elevator and ADA alarms, being the brand voice of the ship and Guest Relations for external calls and providing impeccable quality of personalized service to internal and external guests and crew alike Responds to escalated guest concerns in an up-scale, considerate, professional and positive manner, showing empathy and actively listening Championing strong administrative skills, taking periodic metrics of data such as guest counts, call volume, call content and guest and crew call behavioral analysis Readily communicates inventory, program access and maintenance requirements by taking full stewardship of work areas and tools As an Officer, leads by example by maintaining a firm, calm composure in all situations, treats all guest and crew with equal humility and respect, champions cleanliness and orderliness when walking all guest and crew areas by correct reporting and ownership, greets all guest and crew following service philosophy and takes full ownership of all guest and crew occurrences that require direction and leadership.

Qualifications: 5years+ managerial hotel experience in customer service in a hotel, or hospitality industry related field required. Preferably with Shipboard experience and/or experience in a 4/5* hotel handling front desk operations Required to speak English clearly and distinctly. Duties and Responsibilities: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exemplary customer and personal service including needs assessment, problem resolution and achievement of quality service standards. Flexibility to manage, focus, direct and encourage a positive, dynamic, diverse guest services operation by navigating through a changing work environment. Should be able to utilize and administer the progressive disciplinary action process through coaching and counseling to improve performance where possible. Ability to work positively and cooperatively in a diverse team environment to meet overall established timeframes for the Guest Services division operation. Responds to escalated guest concerns in a considerate, professional and positive manner by showing empathy and listening actively. Maintains current knowledge of all ship’s regular events and special functions by reviewing all available data to provide guests with accurate and up-to-date information to answer questions and handle any special requests.

Qualifications: Preferably 2-3 years Shipboard experience in a similar position and in an International 5 star and luxurious establishment. Excellent fluent English (verbal and written). This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in verbal and written forms and to effectively and efficiently engage with guests and crew members. Conversational in an additional language (German, French, Spanish, Mandarin). Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, Fidelio and hotel operating systems. Proactive approach to problem solving. Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to work in a wide variety of cultural contexts. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead, motivate and develop a culturally diverse work force. Duties and Responsibilities: Provides guests with the highest quality guest services, demonstrating genuine concern for guests wellbeing at all times--Personalized Customer Services. Ensures that all guest requests, enquiries and complaints are responded to immediately and are followed up on efficiently and to the guests satisfaction. Maintains a high level of communication and feedback with the Hotel Director as well as other departments around the ship. Coordinates, organizes and supervises the front office operation. Displays a full and comprehensive knowledge of the ships facilities, ports of call and services. Organizes and leads training sessions for all reception team members to continuously develop their knowledge, techniques, skills, guest focus and sense of service.
