Your Mission: As FP&A Manager, your mission is to provide strategic financial insight and performance visibility across Europe, enabling decision-making and alignment with Carboline and RPM objectives. You will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, acting as a strategic business partner to senior leadership. What Impact Will You Have?: In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring financial clarity and operational alignment across the organization. You will report to the Finance Manager for RPM South Europe and Carboline EU, based in Barcelona. Some of the challenges will be: Lead the budget and forecasting processes across Europe, ensuring alignment between ACT, GTO, and STD, and challenging assumptions from regional teams. Coordinate with General Managers and Controllers across multiple countries, consolidating inputs and improving forecast accuracy (sales, GP%, SG&A, EBIT, WC). Own monthly performance analysis, including detailed variance analysis vs Budget, LY , with clear identification of drivers (mix, volume, pricing, FX). Drive visibility on key KPIs, including sales runrate, pipeline, backlog, DSO, and working capital evolution. Support month-end close from an FP&A perspective , ensuring consistency between operational performance and financial reporting. Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations , translating financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership. Identify risks and opportunities across regions, proactively highlighting deviations and supporting corrective actions. Lead and develop a team of 4 professionals, fostering a high-performance culture, clear accountability, and continuous upskilling. Participate in M&A and strategic projects, including financial due diligence support, business case modeling, synergy tracking, and post-integration performance monitoring . Collaborate with GSC, IT, and finance teams to improve data quality, reporting automation, and system integration (e.g., OneStream, LN, Power BI). Drive continuous improvement in planning and reporting processes, standardizing methodologies across regions. Act as a bridge between operations and finance , ensuring financial implications are clearly understood in business decisions. What You Need to Succeed: We are looking for a finance professional who can combine technical expertise with strategic thinking and leadership: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience. +5 years of experience in finance, audit, or M&A and at least 2 year of supervisory or management experience. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Good communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with leadership and operational teams.
