Learn more at What we’re looking for: We’re looking for a Lead DevOps Software Engineer to bridge full-stack software development with infrastructure-level systems engineering. You’ll architect and maintain the software–hardware interface that underpins our distributed connectivity network, ranging from backend systems and APIs to network telemetry, monitoring, and automation pipelines that operate at the edge. Experience in telecommunications, networking, or IoT systems is a plus, but not required. What matters most is your ability to think holistically, from low-level device data to high-level cloud orchestration. Responsibilities: • End-to-end platform development: Design and build scalable web and backend systems that integrate with physical network devices, telemetry, and edge data streams., • Infrastructure automation: Lead CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and container orchestration across multi-cloud and hybrid environments., • System reliability & observability: Build tools for monitoring uptime, latency, and data integrity across distributed deployments., • Edge-to-cloud pipelines: Design robust data pipelines and synchronization frameworks between hardware telemetry and application services., • Cross-layer collaboration: Work closely with network and hardware engineers to ensure software interfaces seamlessly with routers, access points, and local gateways., • Security & compliance: Ensure data protection and secure network operations across geographies and jurisdictions., • Mentorship & technical leadership: Guide junior engineers, define DevOps best practices, and enforce reliability across the stack. Qualifications: • Backend Development: Advanced in Node.js and/or Python; experience with event-driven architectures and API design., • Frontend Development: Skilled in React (preferred), Vue, or Angular for building operational dashboards and monitoring tools., • Cloud & DevOps: Strong command of AWS (Lambda, EC2, ECS), Vercel, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation., • Networking & Systems: Familiarity with Linux networking, routing, and service orchestration at scale; experience in telecom, mesh, or IoT systems is a major plus., • Database Design: Expert in both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis) for high-availability, real-time analytics., • Monitoring & Logging: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar tools., • Security & Compliance: Knowledge of data security, identity management, and encryption standards., • (Nice to Have) Blockchain/DePIN: Exposure to tokenized networks, wallets, or smart contract integrations.
