About Service Club At Service Club, we are on a mission to make hiring in the service industry smarter, faster, and more sustainable. We sell a smart Jobs platform and an award-winning Academy directly to logistics and delivery fleets. Backed by funding from top-tier investors including Banco Sabadell, and Mutua Madrileña, we are a high-growth startup revolutionizing how the UK and EU workforce moves. The economy is battling unprecedented driver shortages and massive churn, and we solve problems that traditional recruitment simply can't touch. We empower top brands to find, train, and onboard pre-vetted drivers quickly, while helping jobseekers upskill and succeed. As a proud winner of the United Nations & SantanderX Global Start-Up Challenges, we are scaling our revenue engine and building the undisputed industry standard. The Role As Service Club’s Communications Manager, you own how Service Club sounds, executing an end-to-end verbal identity that spans brand voice, messaging, bold copywriting, high-impact PR, our employer-branding narrative, and internal comms. Service Club is a disruptor in a category that has ignored drivers for too long, and your job is to give us our voice—sharp, edgy, and unafraid in every market we operate in. By dominating the market with standout original content and aggressive SEO, you will launch our mission into the global press and ruthlessly unify the voice across every touchpoint to prove that we aren't just changing the industry; we are redefining it. To achieve this, you will be writing the launch announcement, the tricky FAQ, the campaign tagline, and the partner-facing one-pager yourself, establishing you as our ultimate in-house expert on voice, narrative, and PR—the go-to partner we turn to whenever a question lands on the table about how Service Club should phrase, position, or respond to anything. You will partner closely with the Brand Content Creator, the Marketing Lead Acquisition team, and Product (so what we say outside the app matches what the app actually delivers). This is a hands-on role, not a meetings role. We’ll back you with the budget, tools, autonomy and trust you need to make confident calls, and you bring the results to take Service Club to the next level.
