Mission As amechanism analysis engineeryou will participate in Mechanism Analysisdevelopment for our PLD Space launch vehicles. Responsibilities • Functional analysis, kinematic ofmechanisms and clash analysis, as well as material selection in accordancewith operating conditions, environment, etc., • Research of locking and releasing systems,rotating mechanisms, etc. that will operate in vacuum and under extremethermal ranges., • Selection and integration of actuators,electronic components and pneumatic systems according to thespecifications, interacting with all competent departments., • Generation of engineering documentation: 3Dmodels, drawings, bill of materials, weight reports, MCI, technicalreports, engineering change notes for the complete definition of detailedparts, assemblies and installation manuals., • Interaction with other engineeringdepartments to perform the assigned tasks to obtain the requiredinformation (Stress, M&P, Testing, Propulsion, Avionics, etc.) alsoproviding input to Manufacturing and Supply Chain departments underrequest., • Meet the product specifications, subsystemrequirements and interface definition during all product design stages,including: prototyping, testing, qualification and mass production., • Participate in periodic design reviewmeetings dealing with Supply Chain and Manufacturing for the achievementof requirements, specifications, feasibility, delivery time and cost., • Continuous improvement research,performance and weight optimisation of the design solutions., • Identify and recommend opportunities toreduce costs and improve efficiency., • Complete the assigned tasks “on time, onquality, on cost”.Necessary Requirements, • Aerospace or Mechanical EngineeringBachelor’s degree or demonstrable relevant experience in lieu thereof., • Minimum 5 years of relevant technicalexperience in aerospace industry or equivalent as a Mechanisms DesignEngineer., • Knowledge in selection and application ofdesign criteria and rules, materials, strengths, and other mechanicalproperties, according to the loading conditions, working environment, etc., • Knowledge in stack-up analysis andkinematic of mechanisms., • High degree of CAD competence and PDM tools.Desired Requirements, • + 3Y of parametric modelling design(Siemens NX) and PDM tools (Teamcenter), • Knowledge in dimensioning and tolerancingof aerospace parts (ASME Y14.5, ISO 1101 standards), • Experience in mechanism design applicationsand standard components selection (bearings, actuators, transmissions,etc.), • Be familiar with different manufacturingtechnologies (such as machining, forming, welding, composite handlamination, etc.)Desired Competencies, • Mechanisms design of rockets or satellites, • Knowledge of applicable standards, such as SpaceMechanisms ECSS Engineering Standards (ECSS-S-ST-33), • Experience in design of components thatoperate under extreme conditions (cryogenics, high temperature, vibration,etc.), • Knowledge of the standards related tocorrosion protection and common surface treatments, • Be familiar with aerospace grade componentdesign, common lightweight metallic and non-metallic alloys and materials., • Self-motivated and able to work underpressure to meet deadlines, dealing with situations that are constrainedby time and managing different tasks at once., • Able to work autonomously with littlesupervision., • Physiotherapywithin our facilities, • 50%discount on your health insurance, • Youcan sign-up your family members with health insurance at a competitive price., • Healthysnacks and lots of fruitFindbalance, • 23 days of paid vacation plusDecember 24th and 31stNeverstop learning, • We encourage practical learning, • We promote professional developmentthrough internal mobility and teamwork, • Childcare flexible contributions, • Restaurant tickets, • Transport flexible contributions, • Training supportValues Wehave five critical beliefs that guide the way PLD Space is shaping the futureof space launch technologies. • Teamwork., • Hardwork., • Commitment., • Keepit simple. xcskxlj Joinus to reinvent how rockets are built! #J-18808-Ljbffr
