    Music & Events Programmer (could be two roles) NOTE: We are looking for one person, but in case you are a specialist in either the music side or the events side, we could consider dividing the role into Music Programmer and Events Programmer. So please declare your interest. Craft Barcelona is a live music bar with local craft beer and great food in the Gothic Quarter. We're looking for an Music & Events Manager to plan events, live music, and grow our community. We need someone organized, creative, independent, and business-minded, who can build an exciting music lineup and events calendar for locals, tourists, expats, and international visitors. What you'll do: • Identify and screen artists and program the entire live music schedule (music every day of the week, including bands, hosted jams and open mic nights). Maintain a database and contacts with community musicians., • Create and design monthly events calendars for other activities like pub quizzes, networking nights, language exchange, comedy, karaoke, themed nights, watch parties, and more.., • Book and manage bands, DJs, hosts, artists, and outside collaborators., • Responsible for programming costs and commercial success based on expected demand for each date and format., • Create new events for expats, international students, tourists, and locals., • Coordinate logistics, materials, and promotion for each event (with the social media team)., • Build partnerships with universities, hostels, companies, international communities, and event organizers., • Communicate with bar staff and partners to assure seamless planning and running of events, • Plan around Barcelona's calendar: local holidays, festivals, conferences, major sports events, tourist seasons, and key international dates., • Track results for each event: attendance, revenue, average spend, cost, and profitability. What we're looking for • STRONG ENGLISH AND SPANISH REQUIRED, • AUTONOMO or external consultant status. This is not an employment job. However, if the collaboration is successful we could be open to that or other models long-term., • Experience in events, hospitality, nightlife, venues, production, tourism, or community management., • Strong organizational and planning skills., • Good knowledge of Barcelona, its cultural calendar, and tourism trends., • Able to work independently and handle problems on the spot., • Creative mindset with a commercial perspective., • Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills., • Reliable under stressful situations and be available at unusual hours How the role works This role mixes planning work with time at Craft based on the events schedule. You don't need to be at the venue every day, but you'll check in regularly with management and personally oversee events that need your attention. You'll coordinate each event's needs directly with management and bar staff.
