Private Equity Fundraising – VP / Principal Location: London, Madrid, Zurich, or Dubai (Hybrid) Our client is a global private markets investment manager with a dedicated impact mandate and a multi-strategy platform encompassing private equity and private credit. With a multi-billion portfolio and a deep LP network spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas, the firm combines institutional discipline with an entrepreneurial culture and a high-conviction approach to capital deployment. Its Private Equity Partnerships platform — covering secondaries, co-investments and fund-of-funds — is a core pillar of the firm’s growth strategy and a strategic interface with global LP ecosystems. The firm is seeking to appoint a VP / Principal to lead fundraising, capital formation and market development for the Partnerships platform. This is a senior mandate with clear commercial impact, focused on expanding the firm’s global LP footprint, with Asia and the Middle East designated as priority markets for near-term growth. Key Responsibilities Fundraising Leadership – Secondaries, Co-Investments, Fund-of-Funds • Originate, lead and execute capital-raising initiatives for the firm’s Partnerships strategies, including a flagship impact-aligned secondaries programme., • Represent the platform across the full spectrum of PE partnership solutions: LP secondaries, GP-led transactions, continuation vehicles, co-investments and primary fund commitments., • Build and maintain senior-level dialogues with institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, endowments, foundations and family offices — with a particular emphasis on Asia and the Middle East as core expansion corridors., • Act as the firm’s subject-matter authority on secondaries, co-investments and fund-of-funds, providing credible, detailed responses on underwriting frameworks, pricing dynamics, risk/return considerations and portfolio construction., • Translate insights from Investment Committees, GP negotiations, transaction reviews and portfolio analytics into compelling LP-facing narratives., • Design and execute market-development strategies across global LP hubs, with Asia and the Middle East as the highest-priority growth vectors., • Build region-specific go-to-market plans, calibrate messaging to investor typologies, and track competitive dynamics across sovereign institutions, public pensions, banks, insurers and multi-family platforms., • Serve as the senior conduit between the Partnerships investment team and the global fundraising / IR organisation, ensuring alignment on market messaging, product positioning, competitive benchmarking and investor reporting., • Coordinate with investment, impact, product, legal and marketing teams to refine materials, anticipate investor requirements and ensure consistency of external communications., • Represent the firm at high-profile conferences, regional summits and industry events, especially across Asia and the Middle East, positioning the platform as a sophisticated and credible participant in the global secondaries and co-investment ecosystem., • Contribute to the production of white papers, market outlooks and thematic research pieces supporting the firm’s reputation as a leading Partnerships provider within private equity., • Enhance visibility in strategic regions through targeted participation in industry forums, roundtables and investor delegations. Candidate Profile Experience & Technical Expertise • A minimum of 9 years of private markets experience, ideally across secondaries, co-investments, primary fund commitments, fundraising or investor relations., • Demonstrated fluency across LP secondaries, GP-led processes, continuation fund structures, co-investment evaluation and fund underwriting., • Strong executive presence and a refined ability to engage with sophisticated institutional stakeholders across multiple geographies and cultures., • Commercial, proactive and comfortable operating in a high-autonomy, high-accountability environment., • Advanced degree in finance, economics, business or a related discipline preferred; additional professional qualifications (e.g., CFA) viewed positively.
