As a unified, singular service provider, SGITTprovides reliable, resilient and innovative geospatial,communications and information technology services, includingcentralized connectivity, hosting and monitoring support, ensuringthat staff members in field Missions at Headquarters have access tocritical enterprise systems. /p pThe ICT Specialist - Technology Solutions Engineer will carryout his/her tasks at UNGSC, Technology Development, Design Planning Section (TDDPS), Technology Development Unit (TDU) inValencia (Spain). /p pThe ICT Specialist - Technology Solutions Engineer initiates andpromotes technology solutions and innovations, integrating militaryand civilian technologies and expertise, in support of making UNpeace operations more safe, more effective and more efficient; andcreates synergies that emphasize enhanced operational performance,impact and capacities through the introduction of modern technologyto UN peacekeeping and field missions. /p pThis is a position in UNOPS for supporting projects carried outfor UNGSC.
