We have a very international team, located all across Europe, who all work together to deliver unforgettable experiences across 40+ European destinations. We’re now looking for a commercially sharp, Barcelona-based Destination Manager to lead our Iberian (Spanish & Portuguese) operations and drive growth across the region. The Role As Destination Manager for Spain and Portugal, with Barcelona being your most important destination, you will own the full operational and commercial performance of our Iberian destinations. You are the main point of contact between the Sales team and the supplier network in the region. You will inherit destinations with an established booking volume and a mandate to reset supplier relationships, improve commercial terms, and build the infrastructure for growth into new Spanish destinations. This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for someone who builds, negotiates, and grows. What You Will DoDay-to-day operations • Manage all group bookings for Barcelona and our other Spanish and Portuguese destinations end-to-end: confirmation, coordination, on-day execution, and follow-up, • Liaise with suppliers, venues, and activity providers to ensure every group arrives to confirmed, high-quality experiences, • Handle customer and account manager queries promptly and professionally, • Process invoices, • Operate bookings through our internal system, • Be available on phone for weekend escalations during high season (on a rota basis)Supplier management, • Own the full supplier portfolio for Spain and Portugal: contracts, pricing, availability, and quality standards, • Renegotiate supplier terms from scratch (where needed) - we expect you to enter with fresh eyes and improve commercial conditions across the board, • Build relationships on the company’s terms, not the supplier’s: we set the standards, they meet them, • Conduct structured quarterly supplier reviews using the performance framework (review scores, complaint rates, booking volumes), • Source and onboard new suppliers for existing and new destinations, • Maintain a documented supplier contact record in our systems Growth and expansion, • Take ownership of expanding our product range in Barcelona and other destinations - new activities, better venues, improved packages, • Support the evaluation and potential launch of new Spanish/Portuguese destinations, • Identify gaps in the current offering and propose solutions backed by data from our booking and review systems, • Work closely with the Sales team to align on product strategy and commercial priorities, • Big focus on improved supplier setup with better prices, more flexible payments terms and more flexible working conditions.Standards and reporting, • Submit weekly operational reports, • Monitor and react to customer reviews for your destinations - strategically and on spot, • Follow and implement company SOPs, operational standards, and supplier frameworks, • Flag issues proactively - we expect problems to come to us before they become firesWhat We’re Looking ForEssential, • Based in Barcelona - this is a hard requirement, not a preference, • Fluent in Spanish and English, with a basic understanding of Portuguese (French is a significant plus given our fastest-growing customer segment), • Commercially minded: you think in terms of margins, leverage, and growth, not just operations., • You understand the purpose of going the extra mile during high season to close last-minute sales., • Experience in travel, events, tourism, or hospitality - you understand how suppliers, venues, and group logistics work, • Strong negotiator: comfortable resetting relationships and pushing for better terms, • Highly organised and reliable - deadlines exist for a reason and you respect them, • Comfortable working independently in a remote-first setup with full accountability for your destinations, • Confident communicator with customers, suppliers, and internal teamsStrong advantage, • Portuguese language skills, • French language skills, • Existing supplier or venue network in Barcelona or wider Spain/Portugal, or experience working with such, • Experience managing multiple destinations in the tourism industry, • Familiarity with booking management systems, dashboards, or CRM tools, • Background in stag do, group travel, or experience-based tourism or BCN nightlifeWhat We Offer, • A commercially meaningful role with real ownership - you build and manage your own supplier portfolio, • Growth mandate: Barcelona is a priority destination and Spain+Portugal is set as potential for expansion, • Remote-first with full flexibility, as long as you’re delivering, • A small, direct team with no bureaucracy - decisions happen fast, • Competitive salary depending on experience plus substantial bonus based on booking volume, • The chance to be part of building something - we are professionalising operations and you will be a key part of thatWhat This Role Is Not This is not a role for someone who prefers to manage existing relationships on autopilot.
