EHS Technician – Health & Safety and Radiological Protection Westinghouse Field Services seeks an EHS Technician to support Health & Safety (H&S) and Radiological Protection (RP) activities across our sites and nuclear power plants. Main Responsibilities • Support the Health & Safety Management System and activities related to Radiological Protection., • Assist in safety inspections and risk assessments., • Support the development and implementation of policies and practices aimed at identifying and mitigating hazardous workplace conditions., • Participate in compliance assurance activities, environmental management system audits, and routine inspections to monitor compliance in real time., • Assist in the investigation of accidents and environmental incidents, working with engineers, management, and regulatory authorities to identify root causes and prevent recurrence., • Support the planning and execution of training activities related to health, safety, and radiological protection., • Prepare documentation required for workers’ access to customer facilities, including Health & Safety Plans, Individual staff accreditations, Training records and Personal Protective Equipment documentation., • Support coordination in multi‑employer worksites., • Monitor and supervise Radiological Protection matters, including dose management for exposed workers., • Provide administrative support related to other EHS areas., • Participate in in‑field Health & Safety and Radiological Protection supervision during nuclear plant outages and inspection campaigns., • Assist in the preparation of Health & Safety Plans, Hazard assessments, Preventive and protective measures and ALARA Plans., • Support field supervision activities, including accident investigation, dose monitoring, hygienic assessments, safety inspections of equipment, tools, and auxiliary means, and planning and supervision of special hazardous activities.Requirements, • Technical or academic background related to Health & Safety, Occupational Risk Prevention, Environmental Health, Sciences, or similar disciplines., • Engineering degree not required, provided the candidate has relevant qualifications and experience related to Occupational Risk Prevention / Health & Safety., • Native or fluent Spanish.
