Product Influence & Repairability Engineer At Itera Mobility Engineering, we are looking for a Product Influence & Repairability Engineer to join our automotive engineering team in Barcelona, Spain. The key objective in this position is to influence product development to ensure that future vehicles are designed with optimal repairability, reduced service complexity, and lower lifecycle costs, while representing after‑Sales needs within the engineering process. Main functions to develop: • Conduct technical and economic repairability studies in automotive sector., • Analyze compliance with After‑Sales and Product Influence requirements., • Participate in defining repairability requirements applicable to new models, platforms, and technologies., • Prepare technical reports on: repair concepts and technical solutions, impact of new technologies on After‑Sales and warranty costs and improvement proposals for repair processes., • Attend and participate in technical meetings (benchmarking, Fachteams, etc.)., • Coordinate with R&D, Quality, and After‑Sales departments to ensure objective fulfillment., • Monitor the technical and economic status of requirements by model., • Ensure proper technical documentation (DTP, drawings, PDMs, etc.) and traceability of deliverables. Essential Requirements: • Technical or Advanced Engineering degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial Engineering or equivalent., • Additional training in hybrid and electric vehicle technologies (HV Level 3 certification), • Proven experience in AUTOMOTIVE After‑Sales., • Hands‑on experience in repair processes and automotive mechanics, including: • Bodywork (joining systems: welding, adhesive bonding, bolting, etc.)., • Paint (repair and painting of metal and plastic parts)., • General mechanics (suspension, steering, brakes, HVAC, tires)., • ADAS technology (camera and radar calibration)., • Diagnostics using the ODIS tool., • Knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicle technology, especially HV batteries. • Experience in technical teams (Fachteams, TST, MRK, SET, etc.)., • Experience in managing technical projects. Strong technical coordination skills, leadership, and autonomy. Technical skills: • Advanced proficiency with tools and systems (CONNECT, VISMOCKUP, Catia, Office (intermediate–advanced level), Elsa Pro (GRP), Etka, VCAT, AVON, Hyper KVS, TI‑Rex, FAM, ODIS, AQUA), • Knowledge in technical–economic repairability analysis. Ability to draft technical reports and economic assessments.
