JOB DESCRIPTION: This role is responsible for daily analysis of the potential fraud risks, managing the E2E fraud protocol trying to minimize fraud costs and support our clients and suppliers reporting the key figures This role must also detect potential new risks and propose security measures to control it. This role is the principal executive role for all direct tax & TP matters relating to HBX group legal entities supporting the Head of Direct Tax & TP: on direct and TP tax topics focus on tax audit and tax litigation matters and on the day-to-day relationship and communication with Tax authorities. Tax advisory and advisor management. • Advising on modifications to existing and new tax legislation to take advantage of legislative opportunities to encourage specific tax behavior., • Coordinating the tax changes with the relevant teams in Hotelbeds to put in place the correct invoicing, accounting, and tax process., • Ensuring an effective tax compliance is in place for sustainable growth, mitigating potential adverse tax implications. About the Role: The Hotel Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing hotel sourcing strategies that align with the organization’s goals. Key Responsibilities: • Research,identify and select key hotels and key hotel groups that match the company’s quality, location, and pricing criteria., • Analyze market trends, hotel performance, and customer preferences to adjust sourcing and contracting strategies., • Staying informed about competitors, industry changes, and pricing fluctuations to ensure the company remains competitive., • Expanding the portfolio in key destinations to offer a variety of options to clients., • Negotiate new hotel contracts and contract renewals for the assigned territories and ensure to have the greatest availability with the shortest release period., • Manage supplier accounts, by negotiating the best rates and inventory, and through strong negotiation of preferred agreements., • Support supplier with any issues related to payment, rates, etc., • Set targets with suppliers based on account management., • Convert 3rd parties into direct business, to gain more market share on the specific territories., • Introduce Company Group to new suppliers., • Understanding Channel Manager connectivity and functionalities would be a plus., • Prepare reports extracted from internal tools to identify possible weak spots in the contracted conditions in order to be improved., • Support the sales team for any request related to special rates, FAM trip, or other reasonable request, for the smooth operation of the business overall., • Supervise the loading process of the negotiated conditions with the hotels., • Build good professional relationships with suppliers, through attendance at events, to gain a better understanding of market trends and product needs for suppliers., • Support the projects assigned by market/region/company with diversified commercial mentality. Our Ideal Candidate: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is preferred., • 7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in Hotel Contracting or Sourcing in online distribution companies (B2B desirable)., • Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management. The VAT and Supplier Income Recovery Manager will lead a team responsible for ensuring accurate VAT compliance and maximizing supplier income recovery opportunities for VCC suppliers. This role will oversee end-to-end processes related to VAT and Supplier Income supplier claims, and recovery audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. The position requires English conversational speaking skills, as the role requires recurrent engagement with stakeholders and suppliers to support them onsite, over the phone or by virtual meetings, as well as communication by email with suppliers and internal colleagues. Responsibilities: • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of 4 PTP Officers, providing guidance, training, and feedback., • VAT Compliance: Oversee VAT recovery processes and support the reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions., • Supplier Income Recovery: Drive initiatives to identify and recover supplier income invoices through audits, claims, and process improvements., • Process Optimization: Implement best practices and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy in VAT and Supplier Income recovery workflows., • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Finance, Commercial Teams, and Tax department to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance. These include:, • Escalation of cases where challenges/errors have been identified,, • Provide and ask for feedback, clarifications and updates as needed, • Risk Management: Monitor regulatory changes and assess potential impacts on VAT and supplier recovery processes. Skills • Excellent problem-solving, and negotiation skills., • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance., • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset., • Strong leadership and communication abilities., • English, conversational level., • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Experience • Experience in the travel industry, • Tax invoices management experience is desirable. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred)., • Minimum 5 years of experience in PTP (Purchase to Pay) Processes, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role., • Strong knowledge of international VAT regulations and recovery audit practices.
