SAP Finance (FI/CO) Consulting - Manager - EY GDS Spain - Hybrid Location: Malaga Other locations: Primary Location Only Date: Mar 30, 2026 Requisition ID: 1696674 SAP Finance (FI/CO) Consulting Manager Right now, we are looking for an SAP Finance Consulting Manager to join our GDS EY Technology Consulting Services team focused on providing cutting‑edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in the EMEA region. The opportunity You’ll be working using the best practices of SAP solutions from the Finance business area including ECC, S/4HANA & Business Suite Cloud. The idea is to deliver business advisory services in the field of transformation and enterprise management systems; implement the processes in Cloud, Hybrid and on‑Premise environments, proceed successfully with greenfield and brownfield approach and dealing with Agile and combined methodologies. Your responsibility will also be to manage the quality of implementation projects. Your key responsibilities As a member of our team, you’ll have a chance to extend your experience. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in advisory projects – implementation of SAP systems in Finance business area. You’ll be helping clients to successfully go through IT transformations to implement new solutions offered by SAP, i.e.: S/4HANA, Central Finance, VIM, FPSL, Group Reporting, Accrual Engine, RE‑FX. You’ll also participate in post‑implementation review of chosen processes as well as in coordination of the main project tasks. Skills and attributes for success Take part in implementation of SAP systems. Enthusiastically enhance core SAP technology knowledge and experience. Willing to work in an international environment. To qualify for the role, you must have 10+ years of experience in the implementation and maintenance of business solutions based on SAP Finance applications. Previous experience leading other professionals in project workstreams based on SAP Finance solutions. Experience in standard project tasks: Fit‑Gap workshops, configuration, testing, documentation, training, data migration, cutover preparation and execution. End‑to‑end business processes understanding. Knowledge in implementation of system enhancements and preparation of functional specifications. Strong knowledge about configuration of finance, in areas such as enterprise structure design, finance master data, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset accounting, product costing, fixed assets, real estate, statutory reporting, tax, treasury, profitability analysis, management reporting, and cross‑functional understanding with PP, MM, SD, BW, Concur, Ariba, etc. Good accounting knowledge. Strive for continuous improvement and growth. Strong team‑working skills. Higher education degree. Excellent English verbal and written communication. Fluency in Spanish, German, French, Italian or other languages is welcome, but not mandatory. Ideally (not mandatory) you may also have SAP software solutions – underpinned with strong functional process knowledge and an ability to contextualize technology and deliver business value. System integration skills. Experience developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under inter‑dependent project deadlines. SAP Project Systems. SAP Group Reporting. SAP Analytics, performance management and reporting. SAP financial planning solutions – BPC and/or SAC for planning. Hands‑on expertise with any of the SAP Treasury core components.
