EU passport/Work Permit required. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead technical implementation of the security architecture and services (SOAR, SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IPS/IDS, proxy, vulnerability scans, threat intelligence). /li liDevelop standard operating procedures, security guidelines and processes that prevent breaches and intrusions. /li liConduct security risk assessment and evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls, proposing measures to mitigate them. /li liEnsure assigned cybersecurity tasks/activities are defined and comply with cybersecurity policies to achieve targeted service objectives. /li liOversee the security infrastructure to maintain integrity, capacity, reliability and availability to meet business requirements. /li liHelp internal product teams architect solutions securely. /li liRun tests and simulations to determine vulnerabilities. /li liGenerate monthly security KPI and reports. /li liArrange technical security training for staff. /li liLead the incident response plan and supervise SOC escalation process. /li /ul h3Desired Knowledge and Skills /h3 ul liSecurity architecture: demonstrating solution delivery, principles and emerging technologies; designing and implementing security solutions with continuous monitoring and improvements. /li liDesign of security best practices and implementation of solid security services to meet goals along with customer and regulatory requirements. /li liAbility to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative, and actionable manner. /li liExcellent written and spoken English communication. /li liExperience leading resources or project management – a plus. /li liExperience with and knowledge (note: description may be incomplete). /li liBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant work experience. /li li4+ years’ experience implementing and managing security architectures and solutions. /li liStrong knowledge of security controls including network security technologies (IDS, IPS, firewall, DLP, NAC), OS hardening, file integrity monitoring, authentication and vulnerability scanners. /li liSupport and participate in SOC engineering efforts such as tool integration, development of automation, scripts, testing of new tools and evaluation of new technologies. /li liAbility to explain complex security issues to engineers and propose action plans to remediate. /li liProficient in threat modelling and architectural risk analysis. /li liProven skills in network and system security design, management, monitoring and incident response. /li liKnowledge of standards such as ISO 27000 series, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and alike. /li liGeneral understanding of Agile principles and SCRUM methodology. /li /ul h3Desired Qualifications /h3 ul liRelevant technical security certifications (GIAC, CISSP, SSCP, CISM, EC‑Council, Offensive Security, etc.) – a plus. /li /ul h3Working Conditions /h3 pThis is a full‑time position based in Palma de Mallorca with the possibility to grow within the company.
