A vacancy for a Network & Security Engineer (CCN-STIC/ENS) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space Military Aircraft Weapon Systems CoC in Madrid Area. The position will be based at Spanish Air Force National Support Center (CLAEX, Torrejón Air Base) associated with the Technical Assistance Contract. Mission CLAEX Support team within Engineering is mainly dedicated to provide Avionics Upgrades to the Spanish Airforce Combat fleet. This mission can only be achieved by using Rigs, SW Tools, facilities and networks with the required security level. Responsibilities • Design, configuration, and administration of local area network infrastructures (switches, routers, VLANs, STP, etc.) and private networks (IPSec VPNs, SSL/TLS, secure tunnels)., • Implementation and maintenance of security measures in accordance with CCN-STIC guidelines, particularly those related to Network Infrastructure Security, communications protection, segmentation, and access control., • Ensuring compliance with the National Security Framework (ENS) in medium or high-category information systems., • Hardening of network equipment, traffic monitoring, firewall management, and threat detection., • Participation in network segmentation projects, secure remote access, and CCN-STIC audits., • Advanced technical support and collaboration with cybersecurity teams., • Contribution to the maintenance of the Test Support System, MaTE installed in the laboratories/Rigs. Required Skills • University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunication, Aeronautical, or Cybersecurity., • Minimum 3 years of experience in administration and security of local and private networks., • Solid knowledge of and practical application of CCN-STIC guidelines and courses., • Demonstrable experience in environments regulated by the National Security Framework (ENS)., • Valued certifications: CCN-CERT STIC courses, CCNA, CCNP Security, or other network and security certifications. Additional Assets • Experience in public administration or entities handling sensitive information., • Proficiency in Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and enterprise VPN tools., • Ability to analyze risks and prepare technical documentation per ENS., • Experience in Test Support Systems, especially MaTE environment for EF-2000 platform., • English: intermediate to advanced level of technical English (desirable)., • Applicant must fulfill requirements to obtain HPS NATO (Secret) and National Spanish Security clearance.
