We help operations-heavy, document-intensive businesses automate complex processes end-to-end. From extraction and validation, to fully autonomous workflows, using the latest AI agent technology. We're a small, product/services hybrid startup founded by Guido Villaverde (ex-Miro) and Bruno Dagnino (repeat AI founder). We operate at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and real business impact. We move fast, we ship, and we embed directly in our clients' operations to deliver results. We drive the transformation of legacy systems and processes into AI first workflows and platforms. Everyone at Limai will be working directly with our customers and contributing to the products we build to support that work. We are now looking for our first commercial hire: a Founding Account Executive who can help us build the next stage of Limai. This is not a traditional AE role inside a mature sales machine. You will be helping us create that machine. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who: 1. wants to grow and lead an AI-enabled GTM team that closes millions in contracts per year, but 2. is willing to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty for the first couple of months. It’s truly a great opportunity. The kind that doesn’t come around very often and that takes courage to jump on, but that can be a game-changer if you do! -- WHO WE SELL TO -- What our customers have in common matters more than their industry: they move high volumes of documents, they rely on heavy manual data entry, and errors are costly. That pattern shows up across many sectors, but today we are seeing the strongest pull in three: • Logistics and supply chain, • Real estate, • Commodities trading These are typically mid-market companies in the 200–2,000 employee range, and we sell into the C-suite and operations leadership: CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Operations and transformation leaders. If you have sold into other document-heavy, operations-led industries, that experience translates directly. This is where we are winning today, not a finished map, and part of your job is to help us sharpen and expand it. -- WHAT YOU WILL DO -- You will work directly with the founders to generate, qualify, progress and close new business. Your role will include: • Building pipeline through outbound, referrals, partner opportunities and warm introductions, • Running discovery with operations, transformation, strategy, technology and business stakeholders, • Understanding how customers process documents today: where the bottlenecks are, what errors cost them, and where automation creates value, • Helping prospects identify the right workflow to start with, • Turning messy customer conversations into clear business cases, • Presenting Limai in a way that connects AI capabilities with real operational impact, • Managing pilots, discovery and audit conversations, and consultative proposals, • Navigating multi-stakeholder sales processes spanning operations, IT, compliance and business teams, • Working closely with product and engineering to translate customer needs into useful context, • Helping us sharpen our sales narrative, messaging, ICP, sequences, qualification criteria and commercial materials In short: you will sell, but you will also help define how Limai sells. -- WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR -- Someone commercially strong, curious, structured and comfortable with ambiguity. You may be a good fit if: • You have 2–5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, AI, automation, data, workflow software, logistics tech, fintech, regtech, enterprise software or consulting-led technology, • You have sold to operational, business or transformation stakeholders, • Bonus points if you have sold into logistics, real estate, commodities trading, or similar document-heavy, operations-led industries, • You are comfortable with consultative selling, not just product demos, • You ask good discovery questions and uncover real business pain, • You can talk fluently about ROI, process improvement, time savings, risk, errors, compliance and scalability, • You prospect and create your own opportunities, and you understand that good outbound today needs research, relevance and personalization, • You can manage a deal from first conversation to close, • You are structured with CRM, notes, follow-ups, next steps and clear mutual action plans, • You enjoy an early-stage environment where not everything is documented yet, • You communicate clearly in English and Spanish -- WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT -- You will be joining at an early and important moment. Limai already has real customers, real use cases and strong proof that the product creates value. Customers use Limai to reduce manual data entry, improve accuracy, structure critical data and unlock broader automation. But the commercial motion is still being built. That means you will have influence: over the ICP, the pitch, the sales process, the discovery motion, the proposal structure and the way we scale revenue. This role is for someone who wants ownership, not just a territory. -- WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE -- In the first months: • Understanding Limai's product, customers, use cases and sales narrative, • Building a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities, • Running high-quality discovery conversations, • Creating clear next steps with prospects, • Converting existing interest into structured opportunities, • Closing new customers, • Creating repeatable learnings that improve our sales process Over time, success means helping Limai build a predictable commercial engine. -- YOU WILL PROBABLY NOT ENJOY THIS ROLE IF… -- • You need a mature sales playbook before you can sell, • You only want to handle inbound leads, • You prefer simple, transactional sales, • You are uncomfortable speaking with technical or operational stakeholders, • You dislike ambiguity, experimentation or building from scratch, • You want a fixed product with a fixed script and a fixed demo every time -- WHY JOIN LIMAI -- This is a rare opportunity to join an AI company at the moment where the product is already solving real problems, but the commercial engine is still early enough for you to shape it. You will work close to the founders, the product and the customer. And you will sell something that is not "AI for AI's sake," but AI applied to painful, expensive and very real operational problems. If you like the intersection of sales, AI, operations, data and business transformation, this could be a very good fit. -- COMPENSATION -- Competitive base salary plus variable compensation. We are open to discussing the right structure depending on experience.
