We are expanding our global team and looking for Senior Legal Associate to bring their wider knowledge and help us get our product and service more widely known and used. Location: Remote Own the drafting, negotiation, and execution of employment agreements, commercial contracts, and policy documents to ensure full legal and regulatory compliance. Lead the legal review of complex employee cases, including performance issues, terminations, disputes, and cross-border escalations. Drive compliance strategy by monitoring regulatory changes and proactively recommending adjustments to internal operations and client processes. Advise senior leadership on legal risk, exposure, and mitigation plans for both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. Manage relationships with external counsel, ensuring cost-efficient and aligned legal support for global matters. Develop and enforce internal legal frameworks, including templates, playbooks, and compliance guidelines that support scalable operations. Support global expansion efforts by conducting legal feasibility assessments for new jurisdictions and shaping the market-entry strategy. Provide training and guidance to internal teams (HR, Operations, Compliance, Sales) to strengthen legal knowledge across the organization. Lead or support high-impact internal projects focused on process improvement and operational excellence. 5+ years of post-qualification experience in employment law, labor law, or commercial law, ideally within a global, high-volume, or rapidly scaling environment. ~ Proven experience advising on multi-jurisdictional compliance and navigating cross-border legal frameworks. ~ Strong background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex employment agreements, commercial contracts, and policy documents. ~ Experience working with or advising EOR, PEO, HR-tech, SaaS, or global mobility organizations (strong advantage). ~ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess legal risk and propose pragmatic, business-oriented solutions. ~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal topics in a clear and accessible way to non-legal audiences. ~ Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus.
