Space Data Operations & Processing Engineer 📍 Sophia-Antipolis, France 📄 Permanent contract – Full time 🛰️ Earth Observation / Spatial Data / Operations We are currently supporting the recruitment of a Space Data Operations & Processing Engineer to join an innovative international environment specialized in satellite data processing and Earth Observation services. Main responsibilities • Develop and implement satellite data processing pipelines, • Operate and monitor data processing and reprocessing activities, • Participate in the deployment and maintenance of operational systems, • Analyse anomalies and contribute to corrective actions, • Monitor operational performance and system reliability, • Participate in technical meetings and operational reporting, • Contribute to continuous improvement of operational workflows Required skills • Strong Linux environment knowledge, • Good programming skills in Python, Shell/Bash and SQL, • Knowledge of Docker technologies and relational databases (PostgreSQL appreciated), • Experience with data processing environments, • Ability to work in operational and technical environments, • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, • Technical English required Appreciated • Cluster orchestration and distributed computing, • Earth Observation or satellite data processing experience, • Cloud technologies, • Operational monitoring systems Profile • MSc / Engineering degree (Bac+5 equivalent), • Junior to confirmed profile, • Team player with strong autonomy and rigor
