Job Title: Contract Administrator Location: Paris, Office based role Languages: English & French Job Type: Contract Daily Rate: EUR385 - EUR425 Duration and Hours: May 2026- March 2027 / 40 hour weeks APPLY DIRECTLY HERE: ___ Job Purpose The Contract Management Advisor is responsible for providing expert guidance on contract administration matters within the development project. The role is accountable for the overall integrity and quality of project contracts after award, including proper contract administration, contract logs, correspondence, and the interface between the contractor and the project organization on contractual issues. The role also supports integration at project level and interfaces with other project services disciplines including cost, risk, and planning. Main Responsibilities • Assure implementation of project procedures and alignment of project control activities, particularly contract administration tasks, at project level., • Prepare contract administration plans and procedures for each contract prior to tender., • Serve as focal point for implementation and evaluation of project coordination procedures in the ITT and during the technical evaluation of project control activities., • Support the project team in the administration of contracts, interfacing with contractors and assuring proper communication between the project organization and the contractor on contractual issues., • Assure the quality of contract logs after award., • Assure data gathering to create project databases and report contract administration indicators regularly., • Represent the project control function with contractors and partners in contract administration matters, including kick-off meetings and other post-award contractual matters. Key Activities • Prepare the contract execution plan., • Provide contract administration procedures and practices prior to and after contract award and during ITT., • Set up management of change processes and maintain registers for variation orders, variation proposal forms, and variation notifications., • Deal with problems arising in connection with the execution of purchase orders and works contracts., • Perform liaison activities between company and contractors or suppliers to resolve issues related to commercial aspects., • Act in accordance with professional ethics and company code of practice., • Prepare systematic reporting related to contract administration activities., • Assure contract logging after contract award and administration of overall contractual documents., • Maintain contracts communication logs and assure the correct interface between project team and contractors., • Expedite contractual and commercial monthly commitments., • Monitor contractor administration of subcontractors to ensure satisfactory performance., • Resolve claims and disputes and prepare responses to contractors aligned between all parties in the project. Reporting Line • Functional: Project Control & Contracts Management Support Coordinator, • Hierarchical: Project Execution Manager / Project Director Education and Qualifications • University degree in Engineering., • Master degree is an advantage for leader positions., • PMI or AACEI certification is an advantage., • Advanced management skills, project management, and engineering training are beneficial., • Fluent knowledge of English is required; additional language is an advantage. Required Experience • 10 years of Oil & Gas industry experience., • 7 years of direct project service experience. Required Knowledge, Professional and Personal Skills • Experience in upstream and midstream Oil & Gas development projects, with previous experience in offshore gas developments, subsea and onshore pipelines, LNG plants and/or floating production units; downstream experience may also be considered., • Mixed experience in early phases of project development, including FEL, conceptual and FEED, with exposure to execution environment and project services practices across the project life cycle., • Experience with Primavera, MS Project or scheduling tools, as well as databases and Excel., • Experience working with an owner organization is a plus but not mandatory., • Team player with excellent communication skills., • Friendly multi-cultural attitude., • Excellent written, spoken and conversational English; other languages are an advantage., • High mobility and flexibility to relocate., • Adaptability to changing priorities., • Strong initiative, ability to work independently with minimal supervision to achieve results., • Ability to multitask and respond quickly to urgent analysis requests.
