Building Manager (Mixed-Use – Commercial & Residential)
Location: London
We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and statutory compliance of a mixed-use property comprising both commercial and residential units in London.
This role requires a proactive and commercially aware professional with strong knowledge of UK building regulations and operational management.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure full statutory compliance (Fire, H&S, Gas, Electrical, Asbestos, Legionella)
Manage Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programmes
Oversee contractors in line with CDM 2015
Supervise M&E systems including HVAC, lifts and fire safety systems
Conduct regular building inspections
Support service charge budgets and expenditure tracking
Act as main point of contact for tenants
Prepare compliance and performance reports
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ UK building management experience
Strong understanding of UK compliance legislation
Experience managing multi-tenant buildings
IOSH or NEBOSH preferred
RICS membership (MRICS or AssocRICS) desirable
Strong organisational and communication skills
