Job Title: Dental Assistant Trainee Job type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday Operating Hours 9am-5pm Alternate Saturdays: 9am-1pm About the Practice: We encourage and promote preventative dentistry for both adults and children. We offer both NHS and Private treatment. Part of a busy three surgery practice which is well served by the Metro system and is 10 minutes walk to the City Centre. We offer a range Private Cosmetic Dental Treatments such as Implants, Invisalign (invisible braces), Crowns, Veneers, White Fillings and Tooth whitening. We offer a private hygienist service as well as standard hygiene treatment our hygienist also offers ProphyJet stain removal. Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms and assist during procedures Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments Handle basic laboratory tasks and manage inventory Candidate Requirements: Enthusiasm and a genuine interest in dental healthcare. Good communication skills in English. Ability to follow instructions. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team. Empathy and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients. Basic IT skills. Willingness to adhere to strict hygiene and infection control protocols. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy. Willingness to undergo relevant training and continuing education in dental nursing. Ability to handle dental instruments and equipment with care. Punctuality and a professional appearance. Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom, including any necessary work permits or visas if applicable. Vidadent Dental Clinic is looking for a bilingual Trainee Dental Nurse. Shifts are to be negotiated, but please be available to work weekdays and on Saturdays. This is an incredible opportunity to work in a diverse team and learn a wide range of skills in our practice. Please note the applicant is REQUIRED to speak English, Russian and Romanian languages due to the type of patients we often receive. Please note you must also be enrolled/willing to enroll on a Dental Nurse course in a college in order to work with us - if you need help finding this we can help you. The work can be full-time or part time per contract basis. Previous experience is not necessary as we will teach you everything you need to know, our only requirement is the languages above must be spoken at a good level and be enrolled on a dental course to become a dental nurse. If you do not have this requirement, please do not apply. Good IT skills are necessary. The only other thing we ask of you, is to be ready to learn and put in the effort into the job. You will start immediately and be mentored as you work, as we believe this is the best way to learn. The working hours are usually from 09:00am till 6-7pm, but can occasionally be longer, according to how many patients we have.
