About Us Little Garden Gate Nursery is a brand-new, boutique early years setting in the heart of Notting Hill / Kensington. We offer a warm, nurturing environment where children aged 2 years to 5 years can explore, learn, and grow through curiosity, creativity, and nature. As a small, community-focused nursery, we pride ourselves on creating a true home-from-home experience for children, families, and staff alike. About the Role We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our new setting and help bring our vision to life. This is an exciting opportunity to join from the very beginning — shaping our ethos, team, and daily practice. You’ll oversee the smooth running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and early years education. You’ll inspire and support a small, dedicated team, and build strong relationships with families in our community. Key Responsibilities • Manage the daily operations of the nursery in line with Ofsted and EYFS requirements., • Lead, motivate, and support a small team of practitioners., • Ensure a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for all children., • Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers., • Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and continuous improvement., • Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively., • Promote the nursery’s values of kindness, curiosity, and community. What We’re Looking For • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above preferred)., • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager., • Excellent understanding of EYFS, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding., • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills., • A hands-on, positive approach and genuine passion for early years education.
