We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated food stall leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting in food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and following health safety procedures. Duties - Open the gazebo and set up the stall first time in the morning. - Check deliveries and be sure that everything needed for the day is available. - Follow opening checks and procedures. - Prepare food items (chop vegs and prepare rice) in accordance with health and safety regulations. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food stall, including kitchen equipment and utensils. - Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. - Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while promoting menu items through upselling techniques. - Be organised and manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. - Adhere to food safety standards to maintain a safe working environment. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours. - Check stock and report to the owner. Qualifications - Previous experience in street food or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. - Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. - Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations. - Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. - Able to work outdoors under any kind of weather. - Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to interact effectively with customers and team members. - Spanish language would be an advantage.
