You’ll play a key role in ensuring every Urban Baristas location serves coffee to the same high standard from training baristas in-store to supporting production in our roastery. Key Responsibilities Coffee Training & Support (Equity & Franchise Sites) Deliver hands-on barista training across Urban Baristas equity and franchise locations Train and coach teams on espresso preparation, milk texturing, workflow, and service standards Ensure consistency in coffee quality, recipes, and brand standards across all sites Act as a coffee expert and trusted support for store teams and managers Provide guidance on equipment use, calibration, and maintenance Identify training gaps and provide practical coaching and follow-up support Develop training materials to align with company standards and brand guidelines. + Working Hours - Community Sessions Community sessions run for 3 hours in total: 30 minutes set-up, a 2-hour workshop, and 30 minutes pack-down. Sessions typically take place on weekday evenings or Saturday mornings depending on the venue. Before your first session, you will complete a paid onboarding and induction (billed at £15.00), which covers ThreadPoint’s curriculum framework, safeguarding procedures, and community delivery approach. + The Role Community sessions are where ThreadPoint’s work comes to life beyond the classroom. As a Generalist Lead in community settings, you will facilitate our story-led infrastructure literacy workshops for intergenerational audiences — children and adults learning side by side in libraries, community halls, and public venues. You will lead the session independently, bringing energy, warmth, and genuine curiosity about the world.
