Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting solicitors with case preparation, legal research, and drafting documents.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases.
- Managing client files, ensuring that all relevant documentation is properly maintained and updated.
- Liaising with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals to gather information and progress cases.
- Attending meetings, interviews, and court proceedings when necessary to assist with casework.
- Preparing funding/ legal correspondence, statements, and reports under the supervision of solicitors.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to professional legal standards at all times.
Requirements:
- A law degree or equivalent legal qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience in a paralegal, caseworker, or legal assistant role is desirable.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative in solving problems.
