Job Description We are looking for a support worker / carer to join the nice and very professional lovely team around a young friendly disabled man who lives at home with his family and dog. The young man has very complex health needs and is non verbal. Ideally you can take on 2 waking nights and 2 day shifts (minimum of 37.5 hours or more per week). This is a full time position. We would ideally hope to find someone who is flexible to occasionally take on extra shifts. The existing team is fair with each other to also cover equal time covering some weekends and holidays like Christmas and of course cover for each other during their colleagues holidays and if one of the team is ill. The perfect candidate for this position would be someone who has a strong interest in working with a very friendly disabled young man. Is openminded and does not mind to learn. This position could suit student of a related subject like nursing, psychology, physiotherapy, social work etc. The waking night shifts are to keep him safe and take care of all health needs and alert the parents in case of a seizure or if there is any other emergency. Each waking night shift is 13 hours long. 20.00 -09.00. We feel consecutive nights work best. We need to cover either Thursday & Friday or Sunday & Monday or Tuesday & Wednesday. Let us know in your application which nights work best for you and if you are interested in only covering 2 regular nights (26 hours per week) next to studies or if you are interested in the full time position (2 regular waking nights plus 2 day shifts). Day shifts are mostly 8 hours long (sometimes a bit longer). Day shifts start either at 8.30 or at 13.30 for the afternoon shift. The candidate needs to be physically really fit & strong with good balance and not too petite as the young person needs a lot of support as he has a movement disorder, severe epilepsy, profound autism, is non verbal and has other health needs additionally but likes to walk (and this with a lot of support). Training through shadowing will be provided. Most training in the first few weeks will be solely during daytime until confident enough to take on night shadowing. We would like to find someone who can accept this position as their only job. This position is very different from care home jobs as it is in his home with his family. About the young person He is a very friendly and active profoundly autistic young man / teenager who is non verbal. He is very friendly and not aggressive. He can walk short distances but only with a lot of support, otherwise he is in a wheelchair. We will train you in behaviour therapy (ABA) and would expect you to follow our training. There are regular team meetings and you would attend those meetings too. He sometimes is also tired and unwell after a seizure or other illness and will then just need care and nurturing and patience. Sometimes he has to be in hospital and a member of his team would be there with him - so waking nights could also be at hospital. As he has a movement disorder he needs a lot of physical support. He lives with his family and also a dog. During the night you would have to be awake and vigilant and alert the family in case of a seizure. The nights are strictly waking and can easily turn into quite active nights when there is a health problem and the young man often needs to go to hospital then. For the correct candidate this is a good opportunity to learn. During the day his team needs to follow a clear health regime and also make sure he lives a fulfilled life - being in the community - cafes, pub lunches, visiting shops, going to the park, riding a disability bike and going to splash in the pool. The team also accompany him on holidays with his family. Before and after a waking night you need to be able to rest. We would not consider someone who has a second job. This position also involves keeping his environment generally tidy and clean and help with his laundry. You should be responsible, cheerful, honest and very reliable, physically strong and healthy as he needs a lot of support. We’re two young entrepreneurs (28y/o) with a 10-week-old baby, looking for an amazing extra pair of hands to join us for the next 1–4 months. We both work from home and are running businesses across furniture, real estate, fashion and tech, finishing a house renovation, and looking after our new baby. We’re looking for someone who can work alongside us and help wherever they’re most needed that day. This is a genuinely varied role. One day (or one hour!) could look completely different from the next. You might be: • Helping with business admin, research, emails, spreadsheets or organising samples, • Helping coordinate contractors, deliveries and outstanding renovation jobs, • Running errands, organising returns or picking things up, • Holding or entertaining the baby while one of us takes a call or catches up with emails, • Putting on a load of laundry, tidying the kitchen or helping get the house back in order, • Organising a cupboard, unpacking a delivery or making us all something quick for lunch, • Generally spotting what needs doing and taking it off our plate There will usually be all four of us at home together, so this isn't a traditional nanny, housekeeper or PA position. It's much more of an all-round support role, working alongside us as part of the family/work setup. We don't mind if your background is in production, personal assistance, childcare, fashion, hospitality, startups or something completely different. What matters most is that you're bright, warm, trustworthy, practical and extremely proactive. We're looking for the kind of person who doesn't need a rigid job description and naturally thinks, “What can I do to make today run more smoothly?” You should be comfortable around a young baby and equally comfortable jumping onto a laptop, speaking to a contractor or folding a load of laundry. Hours: Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm Duration: Minimum 1 month, potentially up to 4 months Start: ASAP Location: London, working from our home For the initial month, we're looking for someone who already works on a freelance/self-employed basis and is able to invoice us for their time. If you're interested, please send us a little about yourself, your experience, your availability and your freelance hourly/day rate.

We're looking for a Junior Sales & Marketing Executive to join our team. This could be a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to learn, take on real responsibility and develop their experience in B2B technology sales and marketing. We're a UK technology company providing software solutions to businesses in the transport and logistics sector. We're a relatively small team, and that means you won't spend your first year watching from the sidelines — you'll have the opportunity to get involved in the real sales and marketing process from the start. What you'll be involved in: • Finding and researching potential customers, • Supporting sales campaigns and approaching new prospects, • Following up with prospects and existing customers, • Creating marketing and social media content, • Helping prepare product demonstrations, presentations and proposals, • Learning our products and understanding the business problems they solve, • Attending meetings with customers and prospective customers, • Occasionally travelling within the UK to visit customers, prospects and industry events, • Working directly with experienced members of our team You'll get exposure to the full sales journey — from identifying a potential customer and making initial contact through to demonstrations, customer meetings and helping build long-term relationships. We're not expecting you to arrive with years of sales experience. We're looking for someone who is confident, curious, willing to learn and comfortable talking to people. Good written and spoken communication is important, and an interest in technology and business would be an advantage. You should also be comfortable travelling within the UK when required. All reasonable business travel expenses will be covered by the company. Because we're a small team, this won't be a narrowly defined junior position. As your knowledge and confidence grow, we'd like your responsibilities and opportunities to grow with you. If you're looking for your first step into B2B technology sales and marketing and want the opportunity to gain genuine hands-on experience, we'd be interested in hearing from you.

Newly Qualified (NQ) Solicitor Practice Areas: Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND), Housing, Welfare Benefits, Social Care & Deputyship Law Location: Central London Working Model: Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home. Salary: £35,000 basic salary + uncapped performance bonus On-Target Earnings: £48,000+ per annum Experience: Newly Qualified Solicitor – previous specialist experience in our practice areas is not essential Funding Model: 100% privately funded practice – no legal aid caseload Progression: A growth role in an expanding firm, with a clear route towards senior responsibility for a practice area and, in time, a role in the leadership of the firm. About the Firm We are a highly specialised London law firm dedicated to protecting the rights, welfare and interests of vulnerable individuals, children and families. Our work focuses on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), housing, welfare benefits, social care and deputyship matters, including civil litigation, administrative law, tribunal proceedings and Court of Protection work. We operate on a 100% privately funded basis and do not undertake legal aid work. This enables us to maintain focused caseloads and provide a high standard of individual attention, strategic advice and client care. We are a growing practice. This role has been created because our caseload is expanding and the person we appoint will help shape how the firm develops over the coming years. The Opportunity. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Newly Qualified Solicitor. You do not need extensive previous experience in SEND, housing, welfare benefits, social care or deputyship law. We are interested in potential, strong legal foundations, excellent communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn. The successful candidate will receive structured training, close senior supervision and increasing responsibility as their experience develops. This is intended to be a long-term career opportunity for a solicitor who wants to develop strong technical expertise while gaining meaningful experience across several specialist and closely connected areas of law. Because our practice areas are so closely connected, a single client or family will often have needs across several of them. A SEND matter may reveal a housing problem, a welfare benefits entitlement or the need for a deputyship. We want a solicitor who learns to see the whole picture of a client’s circumstances, not just the matter in front of them and who is trained from the outset to identify where the firm can properly help further. Key Responsibilities As your experience develops, your responsibilities will include: * Managing a privately funded caseload under close senior supervision; * Advising individuals and families on SEND, housing, welfare benefits, social care and deputyship matters; * Providing clear, compassionate and professional client care; * Drafting legal correspondence, representations, applications, witness statements and other formal documents; * Preparing grounds and supporting documentation for tribunal appeals; * Preparing cases for First-tier Tribunal and county court proceedings; * Undertaking advocacy and representation where appropriate to your experience; * Conducting legal research and contributing to case strategy; * Maintaining accurate time recording and effective file management; and * Developing commercial awareness and working towards agreed billing objectives. • Taking ownership of your matters from first enquiry to conclusion, so that each client has a single, reliable point of contact;, • Identifying, within your existing matters and client relationships, further areas in which the firm can properly assist and opening those matters in consultation with senior colleagues;, • Contributing to the growth of the firm by developing referral relationships, attending relevant events and helping to build the firm’s profile in its specialist areas; and, • Playing an active part in the day-to-day running of the practice, including improving precedents, processes and compliance systems and taking on defined operational responsibilities as the firm grows. Billing Target & Support As your experience, confidence and caseload develop, you will work towards an annual billing target of £180,000. We recognise that an NQ solicitor requires time, training and support to develop a sustainable caseload. You will therefore receive close senior supervision and structured technical training as you progress. The billing target provides transparency around performance expectations while creating a clear link between individual performance and financial reward. Fees generated on matters you have identified within existing client relationships, or on clients you have introduced to the firm, count fully towards your target. Bringing work in is therefore rewarded through the same bonus structure as doing the work. Salary & Uncapped Performance Bonus Guaranteed Basic Salary £35,000 gross per annum Your basic salary is guaranteed and is not dependent upon achieving the annual billing target. On-Target Performance Bonus The firm operates a transparent performance bonus structure. For qualifying annual fees up to the £180,000 target, the bonus is calculated at 10% of net qualifying fees, after deduction of: * £35,000 basic salary; and * £15,000 fixed annual office cost allocation. At £180,000 in qualifying annual fees, this produces: £35,000 basic salary + £13,000 performance bonus = £48,000 total annual earnings. Over-Performance Bonus Performance above the £180,000 annual threshold is rewarded at a higher rate. Qualifying fees above £180,000 attract an additional 15% bonus, without the £35,000 salary or £15,000 office cost deductions being applied again to those additional fees. There is no upper cap on the over-performance bonus. By way of illustration, qualifying fees of £220,000 in a year would produce total earnings of £54,000 (£35,000 basic salary + £13,000 target bonus + £6,000 over-performance bonus). Comprehensive Specialist Training We recognise that an NQ solicitor is at the beginning of their professional career. You will therefore receive structured training and supervision across our principal practice areas. Training will include: * SEND law, including EHCPs, annual reviews, mediation and First-tier Tribunal appeals; * Housing law and relevant civil and administrative law procedures; * Welfare benefits and associated appeals; * Social care law and disputes involving statutory services; * Deputyship and Court of Protection work; * Legal research, case strategy and professional drafting; * Client interviewing and case management; * Tribunal and court preparation; and * Advocacy and representation. • Identifying related legal needs across our practice areas: for example where a SEND matter also raises housing, welfare benefits, social care or deputyship issues and opening further matters where it is in the client’s interests;, • Business development for a specialist practice, including building referral relationships with schools, SENCOs, charities, parent and carer groups, advocates and other professionals; and, • The running of a modern law practice: file management systems, precedents, time recording, compliance and the commercial management of a caseload. You will initially work closely with senior members of the firm and will take on greater responsibility and independence as your knowledge, skills and confidence develop.
