This creates the safe and happy environment which young people need to thrive and flourish.\n\nAbout The Role:\n\nWe have an exciting opportunity for an Art and Design Technology Technician to join our dedicated Art, Design and Technology team. \n\nYou will be responsible for the day to day provision of technical support to the Art and DT Departments.\n\nThis will involve:\n\nMaintaining equipment, tools, components and accessories and reporting any faults.\nPreparing a range of materials for teaching purposes including paper, pencils, wood, metal, plastic, food and textiles.\nPreparing, setting up and checking machinery, equipment and apparatus for lessons including exams and assessments. This includes constructing teaching aids using basic workshop skills.\nIssuing equipment to staff and pupils and maintaining appropriate records.\nOrdering materials and operating systems of stock control\nProviding technical advice and assistance to teaching staff and pupils within the curriculum area including support for learning.\nMaintaining satisfactory standards of safety and security ensuring Health and Safety at work legislation is followed.About You:\n\nTo be successful you will need:\n\nAppropriate qualifications in Art, Design and photography.
