Responsible for supervising young people in a Children's Home, providing advice, care, and stability. Ensure they are treated equally and receive equal opportunities daily.


  • Ensure the protection and well-being of young people in our care.
  • Demonstrate the value of education, care, and development.
  • Build mutual trust and respect with young people to foster appropriate responses.
  • Define behavioral structures and boundaries, serving as a positive role model.
  • Maintain and distribute accurate house paperwork.
  • Encourage participation in a structured routine through behavioral control and analysis.
  • Create activities that develop life skills and education.
  • Apply relevant legislation and standards.
  • Provide basic financial and life skills advice.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Commitment to complete QCF Level 3 Children and Young People qualification
  • Full driving license

  • Experience in residential or non-residential care

£13.85 per hour.


we provide 24 hour care for vulnerable children and young people, so working hours may vary and include sleep shifts
