We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and innovative professional who shares our passion for traditional Chinese cuisine and is eager to contribute to the success of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen.
Help with the development and planning of menus, ensuring a consistent and high-quality dining experience.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Manage inventory and order supplies, maintaining optimal stock levels and controlling kitchen costs.
Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standard, with a focus on Sichuan and North-East Chinese cuisine.
Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Handle any issues that arise in the kitchen and act as the Head Chef’s representative when they are not present.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef, ideally with a background in Chinese cuisine.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Fluency in both English and Chinese is essential.
A creative approach to food and menu development.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
A passion for food and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
A relevant culinary qualification is preferable.
