We are seeking an experienced and dedicated part-time Sous Chef to support in the daily operation of the kitchen. The Sous Chef will play a key leadership role, overseeing food preparation and service, maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation, and ensuring all health and safety regulations are met. This position involves supervising and training kitchen staff, managing stock and ordering, minimizing waste, and assisting with menu development. The Sous Chef will lead the kitchen sometimes solely by themselves and contribute to a positive, professional, and efficient kitchen environment.
Will be working in a small efficient kitchen that provides traditional British/Irish dishes. Hours around 15 hours a week that will have to work mostly evenings (kitchen finish taking orders 9pm) and weekends. Likely roll will involve one full day at the weekend and one evening shift during the week.
