We are an all day and night serving PARLOUR, with wonderful comforting and innovative food from Chef/Owner Jessie Dunford Wood Open for brunch, lunch and dinner 7 days a week Dishes range from award winning full English breakfasts to epic Cow pies & Chicken Kyivs, plus many other seasonal creative dishes which change weekly. Desserts range from Artic Rolls & toasted marshmallows and Wagon Wheel to finish We would like someone who wants to learn fish and meat butchery, chocolate making, dealing with smoked and cured salmon whilst enjoying old school team work Everything including the bread is made in house everyday so the ideal candidate would need to be able to work in a fast paced every changing environment The position would really suit someone who is local to the area, or that travel would not be too much of a problem. 3 days off a week Must have a love for good food, be focused and driven Must be a team player and love what you do A knowledge of British Classics is preferred but not essential

Six Portland Road is a lovely little neighbourhood restaurant in Holland Park. We serve lunch and dinner everyday with a focus on fresh seasonal produce, classic wines and excellent service. Must have experience in Contract Catering and ideally Schools! Key Responsibilities: - Provide training and support to cooks and chefs in approximately 40 state primary schools. - Develop and implement training programs to enhance culinary skills. - To plan & carry out with assistance from Group Managers new menu workshops. - To ensure the catering establishments’ operations regarding the food quality, presentation and service are provided to the appropriate standards as defined by the area manager. - To recommend and implement cost reductions and service improvements to the standards as required. - To compile in conjunction with the area manager the training plan forming part of the training strategy. - Drive to various school locations within south London to conduct on-site training. **Requirements**: - Proven experience in a similar training role within the culinary or educational sector. - Excellent culinary skills and the ability to teach and mentor others. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to drive and access to a vehicle to travel between school locations. - Minimum Level 4 Food Safety Certificate and Health Safety - UK Driving License ** Benefits:** - Competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum. - Sick pay: 24 days once qualifying period is completed. - Holidays: 5.6 weeks per year. - Excellent training and opportunities for career progression - Pension: 4% employee contribution and 4% employer contribution. - Opportunity to make a significant impact on the culinary skills of primary school staff. - Life Assurance Scheme - Employee Assistance Programme - Full-time, 40-hour workweek with a supportive team environment.
