Job Description: \n We are looking for Class 1 drivers (full time). You will be working for a family-run business based in Longton, Stoke-On-Trent, est 2019. All trucks are new and modern and well maintained by main dealer. Depot to Depot, no Handball, and no self-tip, primarily box trailers. \n As a member of our team, you'll be making bulk collections/deliveries from nationwide network of depots. You'll need a flexible outlook, a friendly personality, smart appearance and good customer service. \n The Role \n\n • As a Class 1 driver you will be tramping between varied UK distribution centres\n, • You will be expected to interact in a positive and professional manner and value customer service\n, • As a busy 24-hour operation, shift times will vary week on week so flexibility will be required.\n, • Will have a desire to work predominately Afternoon and Night shifts\n, • Tramper work\n\n In return, you will experience the benefits \n\n • No loading or unloading – just driving!\n, • Get paid monthly\n, • Pension\n, • Equal Opportunities Employer\n, • Working for an family run company.\n, • Drivers treated with courtesy, honesty and total respect - we value all our members\n, • Holiday Pay\n, • Fully funded CPC renewal\n, • Flexible overtime\n, • Modern and well maintained fleet\n, • training program\n, • Career development Internal\n, • Easy clean work (Bay tips & trailer swaps)\n, • Full time shifts tramping Sunday night to Friday with variable start and finish times\n, • Weekly planning on app so you know what your doing for the week\n\n HGV Driver Requirements \n\n • Hold a valid C+E license, Driver CPC Card (or DQC Card) and Digi Card\n, • Understand and comply to tachograph and drivers hours regulations\n, • Minimum of 12 months UK driving time is preferred\n, • English Language is required\n, • Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road\n, • No more than six penalty points on your license (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)\n, • Must pass per-employment Drug & Alcohol screening, and client vetting process\n, • Approved drivers consist of drivers with BGC results as "Meets Requirements" and drug and alcohol tests with negative results.\n\n Job Type: Full-time \n Pay: £47,000.00-£50,000.00 per year \n Work Location: On the road
