    Nursery Manager – Full Time Location: E14 6UE Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week Setting: 30-place Day Care Nursery Age Range: 9 months – 4 years Salary: 35k starting (Competitive salary) We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our friendly 30-place day care nursery, providing high-quality care and education for children aged 9 months to 4 years. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced childcare professional who is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive. The Role As Nursery Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and smooth running of the nursery, ensuring that children receive the highest standards of care and education. You will lead and support a dedicated team, build strong relationships with children and families, and ensure the nursery operates in line with the EYFS, safeguarding requirements and Ofsted standards. Key Responsibilities • Lead, motivate and support the nursery team to deliver outstanding care and learning., • Oversee the daily running of the nursery and ensure staffing levels and ratios are maintained., • Ensure the nursery provides a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment., • Promote high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and child welfare., • Ensure the EYFS is effectively implemented throughout the setting., • Monitor children's learning, development and progress., • Build positive and professional relationships with parents and carers., • Lead staff meetings, supervisions, appraisals and ongoing professional development., • Support recruitment, induction and mentoring of staff., • Maintain accurate records, policies and procedures., • Work closely with the Deputy Manager and room leaders to ensure consistency across the nursery., • Prepare for and support Ofsted inspections., • Promote a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion and continuous improvement. About You We are looking for someone who: • Has previous experience in a nursery management or senior childcare role., • Holds a relevant childcare qualification, ideally Level 3 or above., • Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding., • Is confident leading and developing a team., • Has excellent communication and organisational skills., • Is approachable, supportive and able to build strong relationships with families., • Is passionate about children's learning, development and wellbeing., • Can work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards., • Is committed to creating a positive and inclusive nursery environment.
