To generate new sales leads, drive revenue, and develop new opportunities for business growth and project manage delivery of shipyard projects. Grow Revenue: • Win sufficient boat building contracts to generate revenue in line with budgeted sales targets, • Further develop the Griffon Marine Shipyard brand, • Meet all customer contracted requirements, • Achieve all contracted project milestones, • Manage materials and labour hour budgets to meet gross profit targets, • Research and identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients., • Present the company’s services/products to potential clients and close deals., • Foster long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders., • Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and opportunities., • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align business development strategies with company goals., • Develop business development strategies to increase the company’s market share and revenue., • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of initiatives. Experience/ Qualifications • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related field., • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills., • Knowledge of market research techniques and competitive analysis., • Ability to build relationships and maintain professional networks., • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach., • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite., • Ability to work independently and within a team.
