Lead Technical Architect - Software / SaaS Location: Reading, UK Salary: Competitive + discretionary bonus Are you a hands-on Technical Architect looking for your next challenge in SaaS and Microsoft technologies? What You’ll Be Doing • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of a modern AI-powered SaaS product using C#, .NET, SQL Server, React, and Microsoft Azure., • Support enterprise customers in deploying, customising, and optimising SaaS solutions., • Act as the bridge between product teams and clients, ensuring requirements translate into high-quality deliverables., • Influence technical direction for platform modernisation projects and AI/ML integration., • Contribute to proposals, technical documentation, demos, webinars, and training sessions., • Collaborate across geographically distributed teams, sharing knowledge on emerging technologies., • Work in a client-facing capacity. What We’re Looking For • 9–12 years’ experience in SaaS/product-focused environments., • 2+ years most recently in a Technical Architect capacity, • Strong hands-on software development skills: C#/.NET, SQL Server, React., • Expertise with Microsoft Azure services, including deployment and Marketplace integration., • Experience with SaaS product development and private/public cloud offerings., • Excellent communication and client-facing skills., • Ability to lead technical discussions, propose architectures, and drive solutions., • Entrepreneurial mindset, adaptable, and commercially aware. Desirable: • Experience in SharePoint or Enterprise Content Management., • Exposure to AI/ML technologies applied in enterprise SaaS contexts.
