Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Location: Northampton - hybrid 3 days a week in office Contract: 6 months Hours: 35 hours per week Contract Type: Full-time Monday-Friday Brief overview of the role: Join us as a Senior Business Analyst supporting Global Transaction Banking to achieve its strategic objectives by owning the end to end requirements lifecycle for strategic and regulatory change initiatives, providing leadership and ongoing development to more junior team members. You will lead the business requirements phases end to end – producing clear sets of requirements which enable the business to realise their required benefits. Have responsibility for the delivery of pragmatic business and operational design solutions which maximise benefits while achieving the desired business outcomes, ensuring relevant controls are in place to safeguard the customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Management: Lead the complete business requirements lifecycle, from identifying and analyzing problems to defining clear requirements that align with strategic objectives and drive impactful change. Solution Design & Alignment: Develop and document robust business requirements and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet expectations, business goals, and are aligned with regulatory standards. Feasibility & Business Case Support: Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies to assess the viability and effectiveness of new solutions, and support the creation of business cases to justify necessary investment. Process Optimization & Change Management: Design and optimize operational processes. Support change management activities to ensure the seamless implementation and successful adoption of new processes. Project Monitoring: Monitor and report on project progress to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints. Required Skills and Experience Senior Business Analysis Expertise: Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst for 5+ years. Requirements and Solution Development: Strong ability to define business problems, gather comprehensive requirements, and develop effective solutions. Stakeholder Management: Expertise in engaging with and managing stakeholders, ensuring clear alignment between business objectives and technical delivery teams. Financial Services Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements and their specific impact on the financial services industry. Operational Design: Experience in business process modelling, robust operational design, and risk assessment. Project Methodologies: Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Business Transformation: Experience supporting business transformation initiatives and applying change management principles. International Payments: Specific experience in the domain of international payments. Target Operating Model (TOM): Experience in the successful delivery of a Target Operating Model for a specific process. Core Competencies: Excellent communication, strong leadership, analytical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills, with the capacity to manage and work across multiple simultaneous projects.
