We are recruiting for a QSHE Coordinator to join a well-established manufacturing business in the Wellingborough area. This is a hands-on, systems-focused role supporting the Managing Director and working closely with the Health & Safety Manager to ensure environmental, compliance, and management systems are maintained to a high standard across the site. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and wants to play a key role in keeping a manufacturing business compliant, efficient, and environmentally responsible. You will not be managing a team, but you will hold a senior and respected position within the business, supporting key operational and compliance activities across the site. The QSHE Coordinator Role: You will take ownership of QSHE systems and environmental compliance processes across the business, ensuring standards are maintained and continuously improved. Key responsibilities include: • Managing and maintaining ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 systems alongside the H&S Manager, • Completing approximately 30 internal audits per year, • Supporting corrective actions and ensuring system improvements are implemented, • Managing environmental compliance and waste management processes, • Supporting the implementation and monitoring of CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism), • Recording and monitoring water and energy usage, • Completing Legionella dip testing and maintaining accurate compliance records, • Conducting technical waste assessments using MDS, • Assessing recyclability, hazardous materials, and chemical breakdown of waste streams, • Supporting the Managing Director with compliance and environmental reporting, • Ensuring all documentation and records are accurate, structured, and audit ready What We Are Looking For • Experience working in QSHE, QHSE, Environmental or Compliance within manufacturing, • Experience working with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 systems, • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, • Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment, • Experience with audits and compliance documentation, • Environmental or waste management knowledge is highly beneficial, • Confident working independently and supporting senior leadership, • A structured and methodical approach to work What You’ll Get • £40,000 – £41,500 salary, • Stable and established manufacturing environment, • Senior position with direct support to the Managing Director, • Structured Monday to Friday working hours, • Opportunity to take ownership of QSHE systems, • Long-term role within a supportive business, • 20 days holiday + bank holidays, • Pension Apply If you are a detail-focused QSHE or Environmental professional looking for a stable, structured role within manufacturing, we would be interested in speaking with you.
