No High St retail or domestic\n\nPURPOSE OF AN ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR\n\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to join our client’s team in the Bromley/ South East London area.\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings.\n\nThis role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to identify and report on potential hazards and compliance issues.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR\n\nConduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.\nInspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.\nIdentify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards.\nProvide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions.\nEnsure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.\nCommunicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice.\nParticipate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE\n\nA minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation work\nCity & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.\nNVQ Level 3\n18th Edition\nIn-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.\nStrong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.\nValid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).\n\nSALARY/BENEFITS\n\nOur client are offering a salary of £48,000- £50,000 (OTE of £60k)\n\nPaid Door to Door\n\nHolidays– 30 days including Bank holidays\n\nHours of Work – 45 hours a week.\n\nCompany vehicle – A suitable company car is provided for business use. A company van and fuel card is supplied. Complete with all power tools, testers and PPE. \n\nPension - The current level of contribution by the company is 3% of salary, with the person contributing 5%.
