Our client has an opportunity for an Electrical Inspector to join them on a 12 month contract. \n\nRole: Electrical Inspector\n Location: Bolton - fully onsite\n Clearance: BPSS required to start\n Hourly Rate: £28.35 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 \n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nResponsible for all elements necessary to achieve and maintain the quality of deliverable hardware.\nCertification of product in line with processes and procedures.\nExamining for correct assembly including verifying all forms of electrical connections.\nExamining the finish of all parts to detect faulty finishing or painting, deterioration of surfaces etc.\nInspect for physical damage.\nIntermediate inspection checks for non-Product Certification activities.\nMonitoring of operators within the Product Certification Scheme.\nCheck, complete and certify all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.\nControl of non-conforming items.\nRaise and maintain relevant data records/non-conformance reports.\nProduce relevant inspection/quality control documentation/history sheets.\nCare for and use specialised inspection tools.\nMaintain product certification and approval via regular audits.\nEnsure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.\nEnsure inspection times are met.\nPossess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks.\nMaintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and product quality.\nMaintain a safe working environment.\nMaintain a good housekeeping policy.\nWilling to contribute to an environment of process improvement.\nFormal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21or HNC.\nSeveral years, experience as a skilled person.\nIPC 610 & IPC 620 certified / trained preferred. Manual handling training. ESD Training.
