Title: Clinical Psychologist Location: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital - Bromley (London) Contract Length: 6 Months Hours: Full-Time - 5 Days per Week (Monday to Friday) Start Date: Immediate Start Available Rate: Competitive Locum Rates (DOE) Essential Requirements: • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy or equivalent)., • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)., • Previous experience working within inpatient mental health settings., • Experience working with complex mental health presentations., • Strong formulation, assessment, and therapeutic intervention skills., • Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team., • Excellent communication and report-writing skills. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of patients presenting with complex mental health conditions., • Develop psychological formulations to inform individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans., • Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions on an individual and group basis., • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including Psychiatrists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Support Workers., • Provide psychological consultation and support to ward staff to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes., • Contribute to risk assessments and risk management planning., • Participate in MDT meetings, ward rounds, CPA reviews, and discharge planning processes., • Support the development and delivery of psychologically informed care across the service., • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and organisational standards., • Provide supervision and guidance where appropriate to Assistant Psychologists and other healthcare professionals.
