Scenic Draughtsperson – Live Events & Creative Production Elstree, London Full-Time | Permanent | Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm £35,000 -£40,000 (DOE) + Benefits About the Opportunity We are representing a leading creative production agency in the live events industry, known for delivering world-class experiences for global brands, major venues, and immersive projects. Their work is fast-paced, varied, and highly collaborative – no two days are the same. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Scenic Draughtsperson to join their talented team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled and creative professional who thrives in transforming concepts into build-ready drawings and enjoys working at the heart of live production. As a Scenic Draughtsperson, you’ll be the technical link between creative design and production. Your role will involve: • Producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings from project briefs, • Creating detailed component drawings for CNC and laser cutting, • Advising on materials, construction techniques, and finishes, • Supporting Project Managers and workshop teams with technical expertise, • Preparing quotations using Rental Management software, • Attending site surveys and client meetings to develop projects collaboratively, • Maintaining all project documentation and ensuring deadlines are met, • Championing Health & Safety best practices, • Acting as a positive representative for the company across all stages of project delivery About You We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of technical precision, creativity, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have: • Proven experience as a Scenic Draughtsperson (or similar role in events, theatre, or set construction), • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishes, • Experience producing manufacture-ready drawings (CNC/laser cutting), • Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support both colleagues and clients Benefits & Perks This organisation understands the importance of looking after their team.
