We are looking for a motivated, experienced fully qualified sports physiotherapist or sports therapist, ideally with a background in athletics or elite sport, to continue the rapid expansion we have experienced in the last few years, to work at Kingsmeadow Stadium in Kingston-upon-Thames with our group of experienced athletes. Generally, the sessions take place on a Tuesday and Thursday evening (6.30 - 8.30) - but there is scope for more hours work in the course of the week as we continue to grow should that be of interest. Pay will be based upon experience and further qualifications, but will start at a minimum of £37 / session. If you require more information, please just ask. This is an opportunity to work with some very dedicated athletes in the sporting arena with a team of highly experienced athletics coaches. Job Type: Part-time, but can potentially expand to full-time in due course Responsibilities and Duties The successful applicant will be working with all the athletes we currently coach, with particular concentration on the most elite ones - with, where possible, the emphasis being on the prevention of future injuries, as opposed to treating athletes after they've become injured. This involves working within a team of coaches, sports masseurs and athletes to try to ensure the best possible outcomes and elite level performances. You will be responsible for delivering excellent service, maintaining high standards and helping create the welcoming, lively atmosphere our pubs are known for. Previous bar experience is an advantage, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are equally important. Stock Control • Handle all stock carefully and responsibly., • Follow correct measures and portion controls., • Minimise wastage and report breakages, spillages and wastage., • Assist with deliveries and stock rotation when required., • Maintain secure storage of stock., • Support management with stocktakes where required. Cleaning & Standards • Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked bar throughout the shift., • Keep bar tops, shelves, fridges, glasswash areas and customer-facing areas clean., • Complete opening, closing and cleaning duties as instructed., • Ensure glasses are cleaned, polished and stored correctly., • Maintain high standards in customer areas, toilets and external areas where required., • Report maintenance, health & safety or cleanliness issues immediately. Licensing, Safety & Compliance • Follow all premises licence conditions and company policies., • Apply Challenge 25 consistently., • Refuse service appropriately when required and inform management., • Follow company procedures regarding intoxicated customers., • Comply with health & safety, fire safety, food hygiene and allergen procedures., • Report accidents, incidents or security concerns immediately., • Work responsibly to protect customers, colleagues and the business.
