    Restaurant Manager – La Rueda Italian Social House 📍 Clapham, London 💰 £35,000–£40,000 per year ⏰ Flexible hours – including late nights & weekends La Rueda is looking for an experienced, energetic and hands-on Restaurant Manager to join our team in Clapham. We are an Italian Social House combining great food, cocktails, music, events and a vibrant late-night atmosphere. We’re looking for someone who understands both restaurant operations and the social/nightlife side of hospitality. The role You will take responsibility for the smooth running of the venue, leading the team and making sure every guest receives an exceptional experience. Key responsibilities: • Lead and motivate the FOH team, • Manage daily restaurant operations and service, • Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness and presentation, • Drive sales, guest experience and repeat business, • Manage rotas, staffing and team performance, • Support events, DJs and late-night operations, • Work closely with the kitchen and management team, • Handle guest feedback and operational issues confidently, • Monitor stock, wastage, cash handling and costs, • Ensure licensing, health & safety and company procedures are followed What we're looking for • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager / Assistant General Manager / Senior Supervisor, • Strong leadership and communication skills, • Excellent knowledge of restaurant service, • Confident managing busy services and late-night operations, • Commercially minded with a focus on sales and guest spend, • Calm under pressure and able to make decisions independently, • Flexible availability, particularly evenings, weekends and late nights, • Someone energetic, positive and genuinely passionate about hospitality What we offer 💰 £35k–£40k salary, depending on experience ⏰ Flexible working hours 🎶 A lively Italian social-house environment 🚀 Opportunity to grow with the business 🤝 A hands-on role with real responsibility 🍸 Work across restaurant, cocktails, events and late-night hospitality If you are a strong hospitality operator who loves restaurants, people, music and creating an atmosphere, we'd love to hear from you.
