Solar PV Installer Location: The Company is based in Lincoln. The working area is Lincolnshire. Exciting Contract roles x 6 - Site Night Technician*** I am presently partnering with a leading energy group, they are looking to bring onboard a number of Site Night Technicians on a 14/14 offshore rotation to perform routine inspections and maintenances tasks at a converter station. The role is based in Lincolnshire(near Grimsby), but happy to speak to candidates from anywhere in the UK who can make the 14/14 rotation pattern work. We require you to have previous offshore experience (wind, oil & gas, or marine) preferred, whilst you will also work closely with other departments (electrical, mechanical, HSE) as during nightly operations. Key skills required for these roles: • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks across the converter station, • Carry out general “odd jobs” including minor repairs, housekeeping, and equipment checks, • Assist with planned and reactive maintenance activities as directed by the offshore team, • Monitor equipment and systems, reporting abnormalities or faults promptly, • Support logistics operations, including handling deliveries, tools, and materials, • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, workshops, and accommodation spaces, • Assist other departments (electrical, mechanical, HSE) as required during night operations, • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental procedures, • Participate in emergency response duties as part of the offshore team Skills & Experience: • Previous offshore experience (wind, oil & gas, or marine) preferred, • Practical, hands-on approach with basic mechanical or electrical awareness, • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts, • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take on varied tasks, • Good communication and teamwork skills, • Comfortable working in a remote offshore environment Qualifications: • Offshore certifications – GWOs with Enhanced first aid, medical, chester step, HUET + CA EBS, Slinger, and signals, • Relevant technical or trade background (desirable but not essential) Personal Attributes: • Flexible and proactive attitude, • High level of reliability and self-discipline, • Safety-conscious mindset, • Able to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected tasks
