    Supervisor – Detroit City Burger | Excel London, E16 Legacy Koncepts is looking for a hands-on Supervisor to join Detroit City Burger, our American-style burger outlet at Excel London. We operate several food outlets across the exhibition centre, including Chozen, Wrapid, Orzo’s Deli and Italian Kitchen. This role will be primarily based at Detroit City Burger, although you may occasionally support another outlet. Excel’s event schedule makes every week different. We need someone who can lead a team through busy services, stay organised when demand changes quickly, and take real ownership of the outlet’s food safety, cleanliness and presentation. Pay, hours and benefits • £15 per hour, with a pay review after six months., • A minimum of 100 hours in each four-week period (an average of 25 hours per week), with additional hours available during busy events., • Shifts follow the event schedule. Weekend work is an expected part of the role, particularly when major events are taking place. We aim to offer occasional weekends off where the schedule allows., • After successfully completing a three-month probation period, you may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonuses of up to £1.50 per hour., • Staff meal on working days, 50% staff discount at other times, training opportunities and a workplace pension. The role You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the outlet during your shifts. You’ll direct and support the team, keep service moving, respond to customers and make sure food is prepared and served to our standards. Food safety and cleaning are a major part of this role. We’re looking for a Supervisor who notices problems early and acts on them—not someone who waits for a manager to point them out. You’ll check that food is stored and labelled correctly, required records are completed accurately, and staff clean as they go. You’ll set clear expectations, follow up when standards slip, and make sure the outlet is properly cleaned and ready for the next trading day.
