We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and efficient Food and Beverage Assistant with a passion for hospitality to join our restaurant team. As a Food and Beverage Assistant you will help ensure that our customers across our food and beverage operations enjoy a distinctly memorable experience by providing the highest standards of service and customer care and exceeding expectations whenever possible. Our food and beverage operations include Conference and Banqueting, Restaurant, Brasserie, Lounge, Bars and Room Service. This particular role focusses on Back of House operations for the Restaurant. \n Key Responsibilities: \n\n • To ensure professional Guest focus at all times and to ensure all Guests are acknowledged warmly wherever you find them throughout the Hotel\n, • Be an ambassador for Ashdown Park Hotel and promote all services, Calender of events, promotional offers and other relevant information.\n, • To arrive on time for your shift, well-presented and ready to work. Report immediately to the department manager/supervisor and take responsibility for ensuring you are equipped for the required tasks (eg; order pad and pen, bottle opener)\n, • To attend pre-shift briefing as required, and to follow the direction of supervisory staff on duty with regard to tasks and always asking for assistance if you are unsure or need support\n, • To proactively seek out tasks to complete, and to support the supervisory staff on duty at all times\n, • To work in line with set standards by your department manager, with a positive can-do attitude\n, • Must have a professional, friendly and approachable personality with excellent interpersonal skills in order to work well with colleagues and guests.\n, • Must be of smart appearance, with care taken over personal presentation and of work wear.\n, • Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred however full training will be given.
