Mobile Vehicle Technician providing servicing, maintenance and repair, via prebooked appointments, at customers home address or place of work. This is a new and specialist division for the number one national breakdown company in the UK, with over 15 million members. Must have right to work in the UK status. Location: Barnet Pay / salary: £45,370 per annum (inclusive of LWA) OTE: Up to £57,000 per annum with overtime and bonus. Job type: Permanent / Full time Shift and schedule for the Mobile Vehicle Technician role Home based, working 40 hours per week, across 5 days (Monday to Friday) 8am – 5pm, working 1 in 4 Saturdays (You get a day off in the week for every Saturday). 1 day of overtime per month = £3,000 additional per year; 2 days of overtime per month = £5,000 additional per year, completely optional – more flexibility, more reward. • Overtime – flexible and optional overtime, £29 per hour (Time and a half)., • Bonus scheme – based on productivity and quality, earn up to £6000 per year., • 23 days plus bank holidays (rising to 25 with service)., • Up to 6.5% matched pension contributions., • Life Insurance cover up to 4x your salary., • Access to a broad range of career progression opportunities and industry leading training, • Car salary sacrifice scheme – includes electric vehicle options after 12 months., • Free breakdown cover for your household., • Servicing and repairing vehicles (including EVs) customer selected location e.g. driveway, office car park., • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections., • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues., • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues., • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations., • Payment handling through card transactions., • Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques., • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used., • Must have a minimum of Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent), • Must have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands on experience with vehicles.
