We are looking for an outgoing, sociable and warm person, who's also a good listener. As a befriender, you will provide companionship by meeting regularly for a cup of tea and a chat. We ask that you are able to communicate confidently in Tamil in order to engage in conversations together. You will engage with residents in a friendly manner and develop a strong rapport with the people we support. You will meet residents in their flats and in common areas, encouraging them to engage in conversation and activities.
